Wingecarribee Shire Council has developed a draft Bicycle Strategy. The draft identifies existing and proposed key bicycle routes for Moss Vale, Bowral and Mittagong with an annual action plan to implement upgrades and construct new bicycle routes.
We need your feedback to let Council know if the plans are on the right track. Have your say here online or write to Council by 13 August 2008.
Submissions can be made through Bang The Table, by writing to Council, or by emailing Council directly wscmail@wsc.nsw.gov.au.

BEN MIKIC FOUNDATION FOR YOUNG CYCLISTS
On April 27th 2007, Ben Mikic, a talented 15 year old racing cyclist from Mittagong, NSW, was tragically killed in a collision with a car during a training ride. Ben had proved himself as a gifted athlete in Road, Track and Mountain Bike Racing.
Ben's life goal, like many teenage cyclists was to ride in The Tour de France. Unfortunately, his gifted athletic ability was not enough to keep him safe on the road.
BMF Charity Ride in the Goulburn to Citi 2008
For the fourth year, the Goulburn to Citi Charity Ride will precede the Citi to Goulburn Cycle Classic. Organisers are looking to structure this year's ride around corporate teams with an aim of raising up to $200,000 for the designated charities. BMF has been invited to be a designated Charity.
